Contribute to the Daughters of Penelope!
In addition to its mission, the Daughters of Penelope encourages and promotes loyalty to the country in which they live; cultivates the ideals and traditions of Hellenism; promotes opportunities of education; and promotes the spirit of cooperation and works closely and in harmony with the whole AHEPA Family.
The DOP has executed civic responsibility campaigns on Capitol Hill aimed to educate Congress and to encourage increased civic participation among Daughters of Penelope members. As such, the DOP has organized annual Capitol Hill Days, worked to augment the collective voice for victims' rights, and advocated for the commemoration of the admirable work of Greek American women through a congressional resolution acknowledging the 80th Anniversary of the Daughters of Penelope. Please view our Civic Responsibility page for additional details.
The Daughters of Penelope is involved internationally in several local community projects. A few projects include the Daughters of Penelope Foundation, Inc. for Scholarships, Penelope House and Penelope's Place, two domestic violence shelters, WIN Hellas in Athens, Greece, an NGO active in the prevention and response to violence against women, and The University of Miami, Sylvester Cancer Research Center.
Thank you for your support of the Daughters of Penelope’s charitable projects. Your support helps the DOP to not only continue to fulfill the philanthropic portion of its mission and serve the community by making donations to worthy causes and endeavors, but also to act fast when there is a need (such as a natural disaster).
